Douglas received his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Peter’s University in business management. Douglas has completed the Education, Examination, Experience, and Ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Practitioner.
Douglas is the Founder and President of Grant Asset Management a wealth management firm which provides financial planning, investment management, and risk management for individuals, along with retirement plan and insurance solutions for business entities. Prior to founding Grant Asset Management, Douglas previously worked in the finance industry as both a Financial Advisor and Financial Analyst at Axa Equitable, Fidelity Investments, and Total Financial Concepts, Inc.
At Saint Peter’s University, Douglas earned a full division I athletic scholarship to play baseball for the Peacocks. Since his playing days he has stayed active in the baseball community and works with the local youth in teaching the proper development needed to play the game at a high level. Douglas’ charitable endeavors include the Lustgarten Foundation which is a charitable foundation that raises money towards pancreatic cancer research and he supports Rally Cap sports which is a local charity that raises money for sports programs for children with special needs.
Douglas resides in Middletown, NJ and enjoys cooking, baseball, his French bulldog Brannigan and spending time with his lovely wife Jacqueline and their two children Annabelle (4) and Colin (2).
